Atkin J43 25th Limited Edition

£3,800.00

2020 Atkin J43 25th Annniversary Limited Edition.

This slope shouldered, sunburst beauty is based on Atkin’s most popular model, The Forty Three. The guitar itself is understated and has been carefully designed to focus on the quality of tone and playability. With carefully selected Baked AAA Adirondack tops, Cuban Mahogany for the backs and sides, and Madagascan Rosewood for each fretboard and bridge in order to honour the best version of The Forty Three possible. A custom “25th Anniversary” decal and super thin aged nitro finish complete a guitar that draws on Atkin’s experiences over the last 25 years. It’s an incredibly light, supremely resonant guitar and sounds like a great vintage Gibson J45.

This guitar is number 10 of just 25 and each one comes with the limited edition Vic Lee numbered “25th Anniversary” poster signed by both Vic and Alister Atkin and the leather “25th Anniversary” cover handmade by Pete Allen, and a numbered certificate signed by Alister Atkin.

This guitar is slightly aged from the factory, so shows a few lines of lacquer checking here and there, but otherwise it’s in great condition with just a few playwear marks, including a short scratch on the upper bout. it travels in it’s luxury Atkin branded hardcase.
