Collings OM1 JL
Pristine Collings OM1 Julian Lage
This is an exceptional guitar with a very old soul. Bill Collings and Julian Lage set about designing this guitar which sparked off their traditional series of instruments and it’s an absolutely incredible sounding OM. It has a very thin custom satin lacquer finish, which really lets the guitar breathe and vibrate and it has a hand carved neck based off Julian Lage’s cherished 1939 000-18 Martin. It’s voiced more towards the Martin side of things than a standard Collings, but it has that undeniable Collings clarity and brilliance. Just in a more dry, vintagey pre war way, with nice round, fat trebles. It really is one to check out.
It’s in pristine condition and it travels in it’s luxury 5ply TKL Collings licensed hardcase.
