M.J Franks Legacy D
2010 M.J Franks Legacy D dreadnought guitar with master grade Adirondack top and master grade East Indian Rosewood back and sides.
This is Mike Franks Traditional Dreadnought shape with forward-shifted, scalloped bracing offering a huge bottom end and room filling presence. Crystal clear trebles and open mid-range. The ideal instrument for flat picking and light to hard strumming. Exquisitely made and with a fantastic tone, this guitar is a joy to play and is a perfect blend of that Pre War Martin tone and feel, combined with a modern day playability and clarity. It has a wonderful boutique feel to the build, with a nice, chunky, but far from uncomfortable neck profile. That sort of vintage Martin girth that we feel just adds to the sound. This master luthier from Rochester Hills, Michigan certainly knows how to build a guitar.
It’s in fantastic condition for it’s age, with only a few marks to the headstock and some minute dings visible if caught in the right light.
It travels in a hard case.
